I have had this coffeemaker for over 2 years now, and I can honestly say that I haven't had any of the problems described by other reviewers. It's simply a fantastic coffee/espresso maker with no bells and whistles. It brews a great cup of coffee, and the espresso isn't too bad either. When I brew plain old Folgers coffee, guests rave and ask me what kind of coffee I'm brewing, thinking it's some specialty brand. I love that you can set it to slow brew by selecting the 5 cups or less option; sometimes I do it even when I'm brewing a whole pot to get a more full-strength coffee.

In 2 years of owning this, I've looked at fancier models with auto shut-offs, timers, etc, but I just can't bring myself to replace a machine that makes such excellent coffee. Highly recommended.

I guess as a wise person once said, if you buy quality, you only cry once. It's more expensive, but after the buyer's remorse you will be happy. Well, I could have ordered a small set of vacuum attachments for about the same price as this hose & shipping, but lets face it, they were probably junk made from whatever some Chinese chemist permitted to be thrown in a pot and melted down to meet ridiculous price recuirements. This hose, on the other hand, is flawless. No really, I've used other vacuum hoses, nothing to get excited about, but this one just puts them to shame. This one can bend easily in a radius of curvature of under 1.5", no problem, even though the diameter of this hose is even 1.5". Other vacuum hoses? Fahgettaboutit. Their more rigid and brittle plastic would make them awkward to use. Yet this hose is still strong from the metal coils within, and quality material. There was a 3' version available but I'm glad I chose this 6' version, don't have to move around the vacuum as frequently this way. Absolutely no complaints, perfect 5 stars!

(I wasn't even sure this would fit my Carpet Pro CPU-1 vacuum but it fits perfectly. It even has an airflow adjustment ring you can turn on the end so as you move you can adjust the flow by partially opening a small hole to the side. That way if you accidentally suck up a blanket or something, just open the side hole and it saves your vacuum motor from being burned up. Easily worth it)

While this is a decent coffee maker for the price, it lasted less than a year before I gave up on it. The carafe lid is made completely of plastic and feels flimsy. There's a button above the handle that is supposed to open the spout, but you can pour coffee with the spout closed, so it doesn't secure it in any way.

One morning, after having the coffee maker for about 6 months, it inexplicably spilled coffee all over the kitchen floor and counter. I had done nothing differently that morning. The carafe was in place with the lid on and nearly completely empty. Shortly after, little things started going wrong or not working quite right. The latch to open the front panel of the coffee maker became a bit more difficult to open. A pocket of air somehow got caught in the water measure so, after you'd filled it up to about 7 cups, the air bubble would go a small way up the measure and get stuck, making it a pain to figure out how many cups of water you'd put in. I still can't figure that one out. It was never a deal-breaker, but it was still annoying, even more annoying to deal with early in the morning. Eventually, it started spilling coffee on the floor more often and the gasket that stopped coffee from leaking out of the filter... well, stopped preventing it from leaking out of the filter.

In my mind, if there's one small appliance that you really want to be dependable, it's a coffee maker.

This dog liner is not waterproof. It is very slinky feeling and not very sturdy. After washing, I don't even think it is water resistant. I wanted something that could be used out doors for after bath time till the dogs had dried enough to come back inside where they live. Although this is an inner liner, it does not keep the inner pillow dry. I wanted an inner liner that kept the pillow dry and I would just have to wash the outer cover of the pillow. I now use them for the inside dog daytime beds. It works fine as long as your dogs don't have a dribble problem. Would not recommend as a water resistant internal dog bed cover if your dog has any kind of incontinence. It would not work.

My cats absolutely love the feathers and the way you can make them fly around, but this product is so flimsy! The feathers are attached to a string, which my cats immediately chewed through. I keep re-knotting it, they keep chewing through it. It would work so much better if it were fishing line or some kind of strong nylon. Also, the plastic handle which comes in two parts is difficult to put together, and while doing so it creates tons on teeny tiny splinters, which then get stuck in your hands. I had to cover those joints with packing tape. In all a great idea, done cheeply and poorly.

** Portable Butane Stove

I wanted a portable butane stove to use in emergencies. I spent a long time reading reviews of different models, and had a hard time making a rational decision because, to tell the truth, stoves of this kind hardly differ in their feature sets at all. They all use the same 8oz butane canisters, all have piezoelectric igniters and let you adjust the flame from high down to nothing. As far as I know they're all light (including this one -- some online data I saw gave its weight as 7 lbs., which is misleading at best as it's really more like 4) and I think most of them come in a plastic case. I finally chose this one because it had many reviews on Amazon, most of them positive, featured a 10,000 BTU burner, and had a carrying case right in the product photo so I knew for sure it came with one.

Although I only expect to use my stove in emergencies, I tested it out when I first got it. I put a pan of water on, and it boiled in a very reasonable time. However, there are some annoyances that I have to point out. First of all, as others have said, you have to make sure the notch on the fuel can is lined up with the pin on the fitting before you press down the lever that pulls the can into the fitting. Unfortunately there's no kind of guide to help you line it up, you just have to eyeball it. In contrast, I found an instructional video for the Sterno ActionStation stove, and it has a little tab that folds down into the slot so you know it's lined up correctly. In hindsight that would be a nice feature to have. Second, when you do push down the lever, the torque of the lever-driven assembly pulling the fuel can into the fitting causes the entire stove to bend a little bit out of shape until things are fully seated. This is a little alarming, so it would be nice if the stove were just a little more rigid. Third, the control knob is a little wobbly so it's hard to tell whether you have the gas set on "max" or "min" without actually looking at the flame. Finally, like most butane stoves of this kind, this model has only four supports for your pot or pan to sit on (as opposed to my kitchen range, which has eight). This makes it seem a bit precarious if you're using a small-diameter saucepan. It would be nice if the supports extended a little farther toward the center of the burner to provide better stability.

All in all, this stove is just fine and I'm going to keep it, but I can't give it five stars.

I purchased both the large and extra large pads for 2 of my dogs' kennels and they fit each kennel perfectly. My dogs tend to eat blankets and the doggie bed pillows but have not touched these in the couple of weeks they've had them in their kennels. Keeps the inside of the kennel warmer also, they tend to lay in their kennel now rather than on the carpet/flooring. Pros

* Cleans well

* Extremely quiet and pets tolerate it better than most

*When you turn it on, the motor gradually revs up. Automatic suction also protects the motor from getting burned out if something gets clogged in the nozzel. Great variable height and speed.

Cons,

* Crevice tool is too short (compared to Kenmore or other cheaper models)

* Floor brush, attaches clumsily to the side while not in use

* Top of the canister tends to scratch easily so don't use it in the garage

* Brushes have to be cranked 'just so' to fit into the canister

* After 6mo the 'bag full' indicator always indicates that the bag needs changing. Give me a break!

* Hose does not swivel well

Summary. For $1K, somewhat disappointing. Great motor...but the accessories that are needed to do heavy duty cleaning are sadly lacking.

The company needs to improve on the details. Outdo the competition on the accessories by adding an LED light to the bare floor brush. Accessories should fit easily into the canister. A 2' longer cord would be nice.

Purchased the coffee maker from a gourmet kitchen shop (wished we had paid amazon's price). The coffee pot spills all over the counter if you do not pour it at the perfect angle. We were not satisfied with the product, tried to return it but the gourmet kitchen shop had gone out of business (go figure). After 14 months the product just stopped working. When I contacted Krups Customer service they instructed me to ship the unit back at my cost, also there would be an intial $25.00 bench fee charge just to open the box when the shipment arrived. I have gone back to my 10 year old West Bend and will never purchase another Krups product.

This vacuum is awesome. It has tons of sucion, simple design and super sturdy. Bagless vacs are terrible and lose suction SO fast and cleaning the filters is nasty and annoying. I use it on carpets, rugs, and bare floors and have no complaints. No attachements but i can deal with that and use a shop vac instead-- remember this vacuum is designed for commercial settings. Filters and replacement belts are cheap and easy to find. It is a litte on the heavy side compared to cheapo plastic uprights, but not really that bad. It is a little louder than my previous vacs, but the sound you hear is the sound of powerful cleaning!
